Lime Studio was established by Ariell Friedman in 2002. Ariell is a qualified Mechatoronics Engineer and has a Commerce degree majoring in Fincance. He is currently completing a PhD in autonomous underwater systems concerned with using robots for long-term monitoring of marine protected areas. His career in web design and development started as a hobby, but as he embarked on his university career, it became a source of part-time employment, and an opportunity to excercise some creativity.
Lime Studio is essentially a "one-man-band". Ariell Friedman is the owner / operator / sales rep and also the primary designer / developer. This means that when you are a client of Lime Studio, you don't waste time and effort relaying information back and forth through the various channels of communication - this can be a painful and tiring process when developing a website.
When you deal with Lime Studio, you are going straight to the top (albeit the top may not be all that high!)
The custom built content management system that Lime Studio offers, allows clients to achieve full control of the content on their website, without the need to have any web development knowledge or the need to worry about design and layout. Our solutions range from no-frills static webpages to complex fully-fledged E-Commerce sites with database backends and come with a variety of different features depending on your specific needs.
On a more technical note: Lime Studio develops sites with future expansion in mind. Software is programmed in a modular fashion allowing for seamless addition of features (should the need arise). Dynamic server-side code is written in ASP (VBScript), and front-end pages are developed using a combination of HTML, Javascript and CSS (with a focus on cross-browser compatibility and web standards).
